Wet Paint Gecko

A fresh coat of paint as part of DIY home refurbishment, meant entrapment for this gecko. The little chap in the folly of youth failed to head the "WET PAINT" warning.

 Initially thought to be mummified thanks to its still pose, salvation came on notice of its involuntary respiratory actions.

With the aid of paint thinner and a piece of stiff paper, on it's way it went leaving behind an imprint that by itself a mockery of the " I was here" kind.
